What is holistic health?

Holistic health is a form of alternative medicine derived from ancient practices aimed to achieve the healing effect of medicine, or serve as a complementary treatment alongside Western medicine practices.

Rather than just a treatment for diseases, holistic health focuses on wellness and prevention in the whole body of each person. By integrating Eastern and Western medicine, care can be more comprehensive and personalized with a holistic approach.

Holistic health services provide care for and attend to your physical, spiritual, and mental needs by finding the cause of your symptoms. Prevention is a significant approach to holistic healing. As holistic health professionals, we help treat and prevent certain conditions by understanding and improving your overall health and wellness through different techniques.

Our holistic health services

Holistic health services are designed to prevent or restore physical and mental complications when conventional treatment fails. We believe our minds and bodies work in tandem, and various ancient practices of touch can help restore these difficulties.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of holistic health used to treat pain that involves interesting thin needles into different areas of the body. The ancient Chinese tradition is meant to correct imbalances by stimulating the immune system through tiny holes made from the needles. Holistic health experts believe acupuncture can also affect the circulation, blood pressure, rhythm and stroke volume of the heart, secretion of the gastric acid, and production of red and white cells. Holistic healing through acupuncture can stimulate the release of hormones that help the body respond to injury and stress and block pain signals from reaching the brain.

Myofascial Bodywork

Myofascial bodywork, or Myofascial Release Therapy, is a combination of various manual movements designed to realign deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. This form of therapy helps those with chronic aches and pains in various areas of the body. Myofascial bodywork can also restore proper range of motion, especially after some surgeries. Common Myofascial therapies can include Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Healing Touch Energy Therapy, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Moxibustion.

Herbal Support

Herbal support is a form of medicine that uses plants as a therapy for various diseases and conditions. The ancient form of health care uses the chemical substances in various herbs as pain relievers, hormone balancers, energizers, sleep aids, stomach soothers, skin soothers, and other treatments, from allergies to depression. They can be used for both prevention and treatment.

CES Sound & Light Therapy

CES Sound and Light Therapy is a form of holistic treatment used to increase serotonin and endorphins. This form of treatment uses LED lights that can lead to patterns of pure color that morph and transport your mind to different places. The lights flicker in sync with sounds, stimulating the brain.

Infrared Sauna

Our infrared sauna uses similar infrared heat produced by the sun to increase thermal energy in joints, muscles, and tissues. The warm and energizing experience may help those living with chronic diseases or conditions without extreme heat. The use of our infrared sauna helps our guests get better sleep, relax, lose weight, improve sore muscles and joint pain, experience clear and tiger skin, and improve blood circulation.
